The Fire Ops 101 Program exposes participants to the rigors of the Fire Service, giving them an opportunity to experience the challenges that professional firefighters face every day while serving their communities in the Quad City area (Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, and Prescott). In addition, participants gain a better understanding of adequate and safe staffing, as well as the need to have up-to-date protective equipment (PPE) and apparatus. Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority has partnered with the Prescott Fire Department to host this hands-on program the second Friday and Saturday of May each year.
