The Fire Prevention Division conducts fire investigations utilizing the scientific method to determine the origin and cause of fires within the Districts of Central Arizona Fire & Medical Authority. Members of this division also assist other departments through mutual aid agreements and partner with the Prescott Valley Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department, Yavapai County Attorney’s Office, and the Yavapai County Fire Investigation Task Force. These fires are diligently investigated and prosecuted. You can assist us by reporting arson activity to the Fire Marshal’s Office at 928-772-7711.
Fire reports may be requested through the Fire Prevention Office by calling 928-772-7711. An EMS/Fire Incident Report Request must be filled out prior to obtaining the report. Applicable fees may apply.
