Battalion 6 Chief, B-Shift
Chief Cox began his career with the Chino Valley Fire District as a reserve firefighter in 1993 promoting to full time in 1999. Chief Cox has served as a Paramedic since 2001, and participates in the Off-District Wildland program as an Engine Boss. He graduated from Yavapai Community College in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Fire Science. Chief Cox was promoted to Captain in 2005, and promoted to Battalion Chief in 2013. He has served as a Regional Training Officer from 2009-2013, Prescott Area Training Group Committee Member from 2008-Current and Regional Officers Academy Coordinator from 2010-Current. Chief Cox lives in Chino Valley with his wife Brandy and their four children.
