Chief Davis began his career with the Central Yavapai Fire District as a reserve fire fighter/EMT in 1991. Chief Davis promoted to full-time fire fighter in 1994 and has since moved through the ranks of fire fighter, engineer and captain before promoting to Battalion Chief in 2012. Chief Davis is a Hazardous Materials Technician and has been a part of the Prescott Area Haz-Mat Response team since 1996. Chief Davis has been a certified emergency paramedic since 1998 and also graduated from Yavapai College with an AAS in Fire Science in 2002. Chief Davis was a training officer for CYFD from 2009-2011. Chief Davis has attended several resident courses at the National Fire Academy in Maryland and has also graduated from Arizona State University’s Fire Service Institute. Chief Davis was a “Fire Pal” at Lake Valley Elementary School for 16 years. Chief Davis and his wife Angela reside in Prescott Valley.
