Chief Rose started his career with the Chino Valley Fire District as a Reserve Firefighter in 1999. He began his fulltime career with CVFD in July of 2002. Since that time, he has promoted through the ranks to his current position of Assistant Chief, which he attained in 2020. Chief Rose is currently an Engine Boss and Strike Team Leader Trainee on the CAFMA Off-district response team, certified Paramedic since 2005 and holds an AA degree in Fire Science from Yavapai College.

In addition to his responsibilities at CAFMA, Chief Rose also maintains his involvement in the community. He served as a board member with Prescott Valley Youth Football and Cheer Association (PVYFCA) from 2012 through 2019 with his last title being President from 2015-2019. He is currently the Executive Director of the Firefighter Angel Foundation (FAF). This organization’s mission is to provide joyful experiences to children and families during times of crisis and/or need. Chief Rose and his wife, Tammy, started FAF in Chino Valley in 2008 with one family at Christmas time. The organization has now expanded to serving thousands of children throughout Yavapai County each year. Chief Rose also serves as President of Antelope Meadows Property Owners Association and Vice President of the Bradshaw Mountain High School Football Booster Club.

Chief Rose currently resides in Prescott Valley with his wife Tammy and two boys, Hunter and Grady.
